Transmission & Sterndrive Repair
KC Marine’s industry focus is MerCruiser, Volvo Penta, and OMC
sterndrive maintenance, repair, and replacement. Outboard motors are
verboten at our shop.
Our staff has a combined eighty years of experience in mechanical
design and repair. Many out-of-the-box repair facilities accept
factory service manual specifications as gospel. We do not.
Our goal is to improve the service life, function, durability, and
dependability of any given product with time-tested engineering and
mechanical theory.
KC Marine also takes the time to reinforce the existing knowledge of
the boat owner. The operating parameters for any sterndrive system are
directly related to "who is at the helm," and the conditions and usage
of the vessel. Our company philosophy includes helping to expand
customer knowledge of their chosen product.
